Spring Decoration

Spring has sprung, or at least it should be by now,

and we decided to decorate my bo-boy's shop.

I've took three paper lanterns and hot glued on them some fabric flowers and some made of tissue paper. We just hanged them in different heights so that we could create a more interesting effect.

On the bottom we put a wooden fruit crate that I had around, decorated with plastic grass and flowers.

I think it's kind of cute, don't you think?

Ήρθε η Άνοιξη επιτέλους, ή τουλάχιστον έτσι θα έπρεπε,

και αποφασίσαμε να διακοσμήσουμε το μαγαζί του bo-boy μου.

Πήρα τρία χάρτινα φαναράκια και κόλλησα με θερμόκολλα μερικά υφασμάτινα λουλούδια και κάποια που έφτιαξα με γκοφρέ χαρτί. Απλά τα κρεμάσαμε σε διαφορετικά ύψη για να δημιουργήσουμε ένα πιο ενδιαφέρον εφέ.

Κάτω βάλαμε ένα ξύλινο καφάσι από φρούτα που είχα, διακοσμημένο με πλαστικό γρασίδι και λουλούδια.

Νομίζω ότι είναι αρκετά χαριτωμένο το αποτέλεσμα, δε νομίζετε;

Has Spring Touched You Yet?

Spring has sprung already, hasn't it? Are you in a good mood or what? Days are getting longer, the sunshine comes through every open window, the temperature is getting higher, flowers are blooming and we all get a little bit more optimistic, aren't we? 

I came across a beautiful tutorial for a Spring Wallflowers Sign at A Beautiful Mess Blog, that is so cute that I had to share it with all of you. I don't know if I'll give it a try or not, but just by looking at it makes me feel happy!

Ήρθε η Άνοιξη επιτέλους, έτσι δεν είναι; Έχετε καλή διάθεση ή όχι; Οι μέρες μεγαλώνουν, το φως μπαίνει από κάθε ανοιχτό παράθυρο, η θερμοκρασία ανεβαίνει, τα λουλούδια ανθίζουν και όλοι γινόμαστε λίγο περισσότερο αισιόδοξοι, έτσι δεν είναι;

Είδα αυτό το πανέμορφο tutorial για Spring Wallflowers Sign στο A Beautiful Mess Blog που είναι τόσο χαριτωμένη που έπρεπε να την μοιραστώ μαζί σας. Δεν ξέρω αν θα το δοκιμάσω ή όχι, αλλά απλά και μόνο που την κοιτάζω με κάνει να νιώθω πολλή χαρούμενη!

Let's Go For A Picnic!

My sewing adventures don't end with just the Retro Magazine Covers Purses, no, I've got some more to show you! Plaid Handbags with handmade Plastic Bracelet Handles. And the little detail that makes the difference... glitter filled  bracelet handles and a removable fabric flower brooch! ;-)

For those I chose cute plaid fabrics in various colors and shades. I think they are so cute! They make me dream of picnics in the sun and long walks through green and flowery fields! Get the picture? :-)

Οι περιπέτειές μου με το ράψιμο δεν τελείωνουν με τις, όχι, έχω ακόμη μερικά πράγματα να σας δείξω! Καρό τσαντούλες με χειροποίτα πλαστικά βραχιόλια-χερούλια. Και η λεπτομέρεια που κάνει τη διαφορά... πλαστικά βραχιόλια-χερούλια γεμάτα γκλίτερ και μια λουλουδένια υφασμάτινη καρφίτσα! ;-)

Γι'αυτές διάλεξα χαριτωμένα καρό υφάσματα σε διάφορα χρώματα και αποχρώσεις. Νομίζω ότι είναι πολύ χαριτωμένα! Με κάνουν να ονειρεύομαι πικ-νι κάτω από τον ήλιο και βόλτες ανάμεσα από ανθισμένα και καταπράσινα λιβάδια! Πώς σας φαίνεται σαν εικόνα; :-)
