Postcrossing First Arrivals

Hello again. As I've told you before, I'm pretty excited about this Postcrossing project that is going around. So, you can imagine how happy I was yesterday when "I got MAIL"! And this is only the beginning!

Oh, I'm so excited! I want to collect postcards from
ALL OVER THE WORLD! :-)

This one is from the Netherlands & it's from
the film museum in Amsterdam.

I'd love to visit it someday.

This one is from Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

And this is from Germany.

I can't wait for more to come!

Postcrossing

Yesterday I was introduced to the best idea EVER! I found it through Inka's Blof For Friends. It's a fun project for those who love to send and receive mail. You now, the classic one, on paper, with stamps and everything! No technology included. Postcrossing.com is a site where anyone can sign up, create a profile with his/hers preferences and then the steps are real simple.

1. You request an address from postcrossing.com

2. You are given a postcard ID that you have to write down

on a postcard along with anything else you would like to say.

You mail the postcard to the address you´ve been given

(that can be EVERYWHERE in the world!)

3. Once your receiver gets your postcard he has to register it.

(using the postcard's ID)

4. Once the registration is completed

someone else will receive your address.

5. When you receive your postcard you'll have

to register it too and this can go on and on.

Sounds SUPER EASY and sure is FUN!

I love getting mail and especially postcards. It's like you have travelled without leaving your home. And the idea of having postcards from all over the world?! PERFECT! For now I have only a small collection of postcards, mainly from the places that has travelled my friend Afrodite and some others, but now I can make it huge! I can't wait to start!

Χθες ανακάλυψα την καλύτερη ιδέα που υπήρξε ΠΟΤΕ! Το βρήκα στο blog της 'Ινκα. Είναι μια πάρα πολύ ωραία ιδέα για όλους αυτούς που τους αρέσει να στέλνουν και να λαμβάνουν αλληλογραφία. Ξέρετε, την κλασσική, σε χαρτί, με γραμματόσημα κ.τ.λ.! Χωρίς να συμπεριλαμβάνεται τεχνολογία.  Το Postcrossing.com είναι μια ιστοσελίδα που μπορεί να εγγραφεί ο οποιοσδήποτε, να δημιουργήσει ένα προφίλ με τις προτιμήσεις του και μετά τα βήματα είναι πολύ απλά.

1. Ζητάς μια διεύθυνση απο το postcrossing.com

2. Σου δίνεται ένας κωδικός καρτ-ποστάλ (ID)

όπου πρέπει να τον γράψεις πάνω σε μια καρτ-ποστάλ 

μαζί με οτιδήποτε άλλο θα ήθελες να πεις.

Ταχυδομείς την καρτ-ποστάλ στη διεύθυνση που σου έχει δοθεί.

(η οποία μπορεί να είναι ΟΠΟΥΔΗΠΟΤΕ στον κόσμο!)

3. Μόλις ο παραλήπτης σου λάβει την κάρτα πρέπει να την καταχωρήσει.

(χρησιμοποιώντας τον κωδικό της)

4. Αφού ολοκληρωθεί η καταχώρηση κάποιος άλλος

θα παραλάβει τη διεύθυνσή σου.

5. Μόλις παραλάβεις κι εσύ την κάρτα σου

θα πρέπει να την καταχωρήσεις και αυτό

συνεχίζεται και συνεχίζεται.

Ακούγεται ΠΟΛΥ ΕΥΚΟΛΟ και σίγουρα ΔΙΑΣΚΕΔΑΣΤΙΚΟ!

Μου αρέσει να λαμβάνω αλληλογραφία και ειδικά καρτ-ποστάλς. Είναι σαν να έχεις ταξιδέψει χωρίς να έχεις φύγει απ'το σπίτι σου. Και η ιδέα του να έχεις καρτ-ποστάλ από όλο τον κόσμο;! ΤΕΛΕΙΑ! Για την ώρα έχω μόνο μια μικρή συλλογή, κυρίως από τα μέρη που έχει ταξιδέψει  η φίλη μου η Αφροδίτη και μερικοί άλλοι, αλλά τώρα θα μπορούσ ανα την κάνω τεράστια! Ανυπομονώ να ξεκινήσω!

Μπορείτε να εγγραφείτε κι εσείς και να το δοκιμάσετε και ποιός ξερει... ίσως να ανταλλάξουμε και κάρτες κάποια στιγμή! ;-)

You've got Mail!

Today I went to the post office because they had a little package for me. It was my Christmas present from Tapeswell as I've mentioned before. YAY!!! I was looking forward for that and it finally came! I'm so excited!

And I love the handwritten thank you note!

 Also I'm waiting to receive another present. It was a giveaway from Dommie, a SUPER CUTE bobby pin.

Isn't it beautiful or what? Thank you so much Dommie and I wish you a Happy New Year!

Έχετε Γράμμα!

Σήμερα πήγα στο ταχυδρομείο γιατί είχαν ένα μικρό πακέτο για 'μένα. Ήταν το Χριστουγεννιάτικο δώρο μου από το Tapeswell όπως έχω προαναφέρει. YAY!!! Ανυπομονούσα γι'αυτό και επιτέλους έφτασε! Είμαι πολλή ενθουσιασμένη!

Και λατρεύω το χειρόγραφο ευχαριστήριο μήνυμα! ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ ΤΟΣΟ ΠΟΛΥ!!!

Επίσης περιμένω να παραλάβω ακόμα ένα δώρο. Είναι απο την Dommie, ένα ΠΟΛΥ ΧΑΡΙΤΩΜΕΝΟ τσιμπιδάκι.

Δεν είναι πολύ όμορφο; Σ' ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ Dommie και σου εύχομαι Καλή Χρονιά!
