Summer Camp - Some More Hanging Lanterns

As I've mentioned before, I wasn't really satisfied with my previous lanterns. I wanted to try something different, be more creative. So, last night I gathered my supplies and started experimenting with colored wire. The first one that I've made was this.

Maybe I should have put some beads somewhere,

or a ribbon, or something.

I think my second one was "the deal"!

I really like it.

Once again I used ribbon, colored wire and added some beads around the handle. The special detail is the beautiful tape from Tapeswell that I've won months ago in one of their giveaways (as I've mentioned here) but haven't got the chance to use it in any project so far.

I think in the candle light the pattern looks lovely.

Easter Cards

This Sunday it's Easter and what better way to wish "Happy Easter" to the ones you love other than a beautiful handmade Easter Card. I've left my imagination run wild and I've made these cards. I've used stickers that I've printed out myself (some animals are a free printable from here and the others are just clip  arts for CoreDraw), glitter (OF COURSE), felt,  puffy paint, decorated tape e.t.c.

You've got Mail!

Today I went to the post office because they had a little package for me. It was my Christmas present from Tapeswell as I've mentioned before. YAY!!! I was looking forward for that and it finally came! I'm so excited!

And I love the handwritten thank you note!

 Also I'm waiting to receive another present. It was a giveaway from Dommie, a SUPER CUTE bobby pin.

Έχετε Γράμμα!

Σήμερα πήγα στο ταχυδρομείο γιατί είχαν ένα μικρό πακέτο για 'μένα. Ήταν το Χριστουγεννιάτικο δώρο μου από το Tapeswell όπως έχω προαναφέρει. YAY!!! Ανυπομονούσα γι'αυτό και επιτέλους έφτασε! Είμαι πολλή ενθουσιασμένη!

Και λατρεύω το χειρόγραφο ευχαριστήριο μήνυμα! ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ ΤΟΣΟ ΠΟΛΥ!!!

Επίσης περιμένω να παραλάβω ακόμα ένα δώρο. Είναι απο την Dommie, ένα ΠΟΛΥ ΧΑΡΙΤΩΜΕΝΟ τσιμπιδάκι.

Δεν είναι πολύ όμορφο; Σ' ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ Dommie και σου εύχομαι Καλή Χρονιά!

SOMETHING TO CHEER ME UP...

Still no sign of my little "Boubouki" and as time goes by I'm loosing hope. I just wish that she is somewhere in good hands. I can't stand the thought that maybe she's suffering.

The good news now... A couple of days ago on I' ve entered a Tape Swell giveaway in their blog for winning a prize of $20.00 in TapeSwell decorative tape, mailing labels or envelope wraparounds of my choice. Also they wanted to get some new ideas for tape patterns we'd like to see in 2010.  I've made everything so I could have more chances to win, I've posted a comment on their blog with my tape patterns ideas, I've posted my ideas on their Facebook Fan Page and I've also re-tweeted about the giveaway on Twitter. Eventually on Saturday 12th they had the winners and - YES!!!- I was one of them!!! YAYYYYYY!!!! I am so excited! A present to cheer me up. Not that I can forget my little doggy, but it's a positive and hopeful sign. THANK YOU so much for giving me the opportunity to win and I can't wait to receive my package. And this is what I chose.

ΚΑΤΙ ΓΙΑ ΝΑ ΜΟΥ ΦΤΙΑΞΕΙ Η ΔΙΑΘΕΣΗ...

Ακόμα κανένα σημάδι από το μικρό "Μπουμπούκι" και όσο περνάει ο καιρός χάνω την ελπίδα. Απλώς ελπίζω να είναι κάπου σε καλά χέρια. Δεν αντέχω στη σκέψη ότι ίσως να υποφέρει.

Τα καλά νέα τώρα... Μερικές μέρες πριν δήλωσα συμμετοχή σε μια κλήρωση του Tape Swell στο blog τους για να κερδίσω ένα δώρο $20.00 σε διακοσμητικές ταινίες, ετικέτες αλληλογραφίας ή ταινίες φακέλων της επιλογής μου. Επίσης ήθελαν να συλλέξουν νέες ιδέες για σχέδια ταινιών που θα θέλαμε να δούμε το 2010. Έκανα ότι μπορούσα ώστε να έχω περισσότερες πιθανότητες για να κερδίσω, έκανα σχόλιο στο blog τους με τις ιδεές μου για τα σχέδια, σχολιάσα στην σελίδα θαυμαστών τους στο Facebook και έκανα re-tweet για την κλήρωση στο Twitter. Τελικά το Σάββατο 12 του μηνός είχαν τους νικητές και -ΝΑΙ!!!-  ήμουν ένας από αυτούς!!! YAYYY!!!! Είμαι τόσο ενθουσιασμένη! Ένα δώρο για να μου ανέβει η διάθεση. 'Οχι πως μπορώ να ξεχάσω το σκυλάκι μου, αλλά είναι ένα θετικό και αισιόδοξο σημάδι. ΣΑΣ ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ πάρα πολύ που μου δώσατε την ευκαιρία να νικήσω και ανυπομονώ να παραλάβω το πακέτο μου. Και αυτό είναι αυτό που διάλεξα.

Πιστεύω πως είναι πολύ ωραίο! Εσείς τι πιστεύετε;
