Blackboard Rambling Bubbles

I've been wanting to make something like this for A LOOOONG TIME! Ever since I've seen Rachel's Thought Bubble Chalkboards on Red Velvet Art Store I knew I had to make one for myself. The curse of being a crafter, why buy it if you could make it? And so I did. And I'm really proud of myself! :-)
Ήθελα να φτιάξω κάτι τέτοιο εδώ και ΠΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΡΑ ΠΟΛΥ ΚΑΙΡΟ! Από όταν είχα δει τους Thought Bubble Chalkboards της Rachel στο Red Velvet Art Store ήξερα ότι ήθελα να φτιάξω έναν και για'μένα. Η κατάρα του να πιάνουν τα χέρια σου, γιατί να αγοράσεις κάτι όταν μπορείς να το φτιάξεις; Και αυτό έκανα. Και είμαι πολλή περήφανη για τον εαυτό μου! :-)

First of all, I've ask a friend of mine who is a carpenter to cut for me

a piece of plywood into a shape that looked like a thought bubble.

Πρώτα απ'όλα, ζήτησα από έναν φίλο μου ξυλουργό να μου κόψει

ένα κομμάτι κόντρα πλακέ σε σχήμα από συννεφάκι.

Then, I've painted it with one coat of primer as a base and three coats of blackboard paint.

Μετά το πέρασα με ένα χέρι αστάρι σαν βάση και τρία χέρια με μπογιά μαυροπίνακα.

I've put a hanger so that I could easily hang it on a wall but then I've changed my mind,

made two holes on the sides and put a lace ribbon. I've also added three hangers at the bottom

so that I could hang my keys or other cute stuff.

Έβαλα ένα κρεμαστάκι για να μπορώ να το κρεμάσω στον τοίχο αλλά μετά άλλαξα γνώμη, έκανα δυο τρύπες στα πλάγια

και πέρασα μια δαντελένια κορδέλα. Έβαλα επίσης και 3 άγκιστρα στο κάτω μέρος για να μπορώ να κρεμάω τα κλειδιά μου ή άλλα χαριτωμένα αντικείμενα.

Finally, I decorated with a piece of cute cotton lace all around it.

Τέλος, το διακόσμησα  με ένα κομμάτι βαμβακερή δαντέλα γύρω-γύρω.
