Afrodite In Paris

My good friend Afrodite LOVES Paris so
I've made her a Digital Scrapbooking Layout
based on that idea.
I've used free downloadable papers and elements.
  1. A Polaroid Template (you can find many free sources around the web. I can't remember mine but I also found this)
  2. Vinnie Pearce Dream Mini Kit (Two Peas In A Bucket)
  3. Someone Special (Luna Rosa's Scraps)
  4. Betsy Tuma 2ps Bottle Cap Words (Two Peas In A Bucket)
  5. Free Photoshop Brushes that I can't remember their source
Digital Scrapbooking can be really addictive after all!
Do you like it?

My First Wedding Wishing Book

I'm running like crazy around here! Tomorrow I'm flying to Berlin to visit my sister and until the last minute I have so many unfinished stuff to do! So typical of me!
Anyway... the things that I've made recently and that I'm really proud of are for an upcoming wedding. One of my bo-boy's best friend is getting married and I've made for them some things for the ceremony.
First of all, a huge collage with photos of them since they were babies until now. I've used some elements from the "The Great Outdoors" Digital Scrapbooking Package that I've downloaded from Luna Rosa's Scraps. It'll be printed on canvas and it'll be put on a wooden frame (when I'll have the finished piece I'll show it to you).
I've also printed the cards that will go on each table,
giving thanks to all the guests.
Last but not least, I've made a Wedding Wishing Book. Daphne (the bride) had bought a Wedding album but she wanted to turn it into a Wishing Book. So, I've took out the pages and made new ones, decorated in coordinating colors. I've used really simple materials but I think it turned out pretty good actually.
What do you think?
I hope they'll like them all as much as I do.

Digital Scrapbooking

Hello, hello everyone! How are you today? All of you Greeks, did you go to vote yesterday or what? Unfortunately, I was designated as an election committee so that meant that I had to be there from 6.00 a.m. until ballot boxes where closed (19.00 p.m.) and stay until everything were counted and recorded. Thank God at around 22.30 p.m. I was free to go! (in contrast to others that ended up until 6.00 a.m. THIS MORNING!)
Anyway, that meant not too much crafting for me this weekend but that's ok. I did a little digital scrapbooking though.
I've used different  elements from several digital scrapbooking kits that I've free downloaded from Two Peas In A Bucket and Luna Rosa's Scraps ( I can't remember which one was what. Sorry!). I begin to kind of like this "game"!

Scrapbooking - Traditional & Digital

Yesterday I discovered the magical world of Digital Scrapbooking! I decided to give a try to some free stuff that I've downloaded some time ago. I have one thing to say... Digital Scrapbooking? - SUPER FUN! At first I thought that the result wouldn't be so good. I've always thought that technology can't be compared to the actual ART but maybe I was wrong. Ok, I admit that there is nothing like being able to touch and feel the materials and  textures but the result is as beautiful as the "real one". For the following pages I've used two kits that I've downloaded from Luna Rosa's Scraps (Grandma's House & Autumn Blessings), an amazing site that offers almost everyday Digital Scrapbooking freebies (papers & elements). I've printed some of the papers and they look pretty good actually.
With the String Theory papers I've started this mini album.
I've cut some cereal boxes, stitched and glued on them some of the String papers. I've also made two pockets where I've put the tags that I've made a couple of days ago.
For the cover I've made my own embellishments out of clear plastic and carton which I've colored them with acrylic paints and decorated with buttons (based on a idea from the book 52 Scrapbooking challenges).
It's not finished yet but I love it already!
I'm improving, aren't I?
Tell me what you think!
