My Serendipity Creations Scrapbooking Workshop

Yesterday I went by Alex's house from My Serendipity Creations. She organized her first Scrapbooking Workshop and I was really excited to take part on it. I may have practiced on my own a thing or two but it's better to learn from the best! ;-)
This time we started with something simple. Two different style cards. She gave us the supplies and based on her sample we improvised. I haven't got photos of what the others made, but I'm sure in a couple of days Alex will have them posted on her blog.
So here are mine:
Ok, I maybe I've put a little TOO MUCH of everything!

We really had fun and I'm sure Alex's Scrapbooking Workshops
will be a huge success because she's really talented and
knows all the tips and tricks!

Do you like my cards?
Σας αρέσουν οι κάρτες μου;

Scrapbooking - Traditional & Digital

Yesterday I discovered the magical world of Digital Scrapbooking! I decided to give a try to some free stuff that I've downloaded some time ago. I have one thing to say... Digital Scrapbooking? - SUPER FUN! At first I thought that the result wouldn't be so good. I've always thought that technology can't be compared to the actual ART but maybe I was wrong. Ok, I admit that there is nothing like being able to touch and feel the materials and  textures but the result is as beautiful as the "real one". For the following pages I've used two kits that I've downloaded from Luna Rosa's Scraps (Grandma's House & Autumn Blessings), an amazing site that offers almost everyday Digital Scrapbooking freebies (papers & elements). I've printed some of the papers and they look pretty good actually.
With the String Theory papers I've started this mini album.
I've cut some cereal boxes, stitched and glued on them some of the String papers. I've also made two pockets where I've put the tags that I've made a couple of days ago.
For the cover I've made my own embellishments out of clear plastic and carton which I've colored them with acrylic paints and decorated with buttons (based on a idea from the book 52 Scrapbooking challenges).
It's not finished yet but I love it already!
I'm improving, aren't I?
Tell me what you think!

Happy November

Happy First Of The Month!
One month before Christmas and 11 days until I'll visit my sister in Berlin! YAY! I can't wait!
Also this past weekend I had my first sales on Etsy! They were all by my sister, so I guess they don't count as actual sales, but I can't help it but be a little excited about it.
Also I have experimented with scrapbooking once more.
I had some fancy pieces of paper laying around
so I've made this page layout that's still in progress
and these cute gift tags.
Also I've received this book
and I'm willing to do my best to
follow each and every challenge.
What about you?
How was your weekend?
