Welcome On Etsy

I have registered for an Etsy Shop for quite some time now... months, actually. Until now I didn't have the nerve to add anything on it. I was scared and wanted to figure out all of the aspects before taking the "BIG STEP", but now I though "IT'S NOW OR NEVER!", so I've made my first listing on Etsy a couple of days ago. Let's see how it'll go.

Some Creations For Kids

Just for a couple of weeks now I'm attending an art class, or more like a workshop, for teachers in elementary school. We gather every Tuesday for two hours and share ideas for crafts that can be made by kids and we do a little crafting ourselves. I really enjoy it! We are making really simple projects, but I like the whole process of creating. So, let me show you a few of our first creations.
Dolls made out of wooden spoons & fork.
Our hand outline can be a bird.
A hen, a swan, any bird.
How to use clothespins as legs.
All the things we can make with the outline of our hands.
These are my creations.
I'm sure that this workshop will be very inspiring, but above all... SUPER FUN! I can't wait until next Tuesday for more creations to come. Stay tunned... maybe you'll find something interesting as well.

Creative Weekend

This was another creative weekend. First of all I've made a Receipts Organizer for my Indie Business Class 2.0. I've took a plain accordion folder and glued a pretty paper and some ribbon to make it look prettier. I haven't quite finished it yet, I need to decide what the cover will be and edit the tags on the front. Nevertheless, I like it already!
I had this pretty paper.
I applied an extra layer of glue on top to give it some strenght.
Isn't it beautiful?
My other creation was a birthday present for my friend Kate. It's a candle holder of some sort, made out of old cds and scented dried flowers and fruits.
The Birthday Card
And the Birthday Package.
So, how was your weekend?
Have you any creation of yours to show me?
I'd be happy to see them if you leave me a link
on the comments below.
Have a nice day!

Collage Page

That Tell Your Story Online Class have really inspired me! I'm experimenting with several stuff. I really  enjoy collage after all. This is an old one that I've made as a cover of my old school journal. I remember how excited I was when I finished it.

So, yesterday I made another page as a "Tell Your Story" - side project. I've started another art journal similar with the original one, but I'll create in it whenever I feel like it, apart from the Tell Your Story Class projects (so I won't mix them up).
What do you think?
(I can't wait to see the creations of the other "students")

My Creations

Yesterday I've thought to decorate some candles for the Easter. We have a custom here in Greece to hold a candle the Saturday before Easter so that we can receive the "Holy Light". Usually a decorated one. And it's also a custom for the godfather to bring  one as a gift to his godchild. I've used mainly paper napkins, ribbons and glitter.
So, here is what I came up with.
I hope you'll like them. I'd like to know what you think.
Are there any customs that you have for Easter?

Thank You So Much For Your Visit! Come Again Soon!
