A Colorful Sunset...

Yesterday we went for an evening ride with our bikes. By the way, where did summer go? It was windy and chilly. Anyway, it was right before sunset so we found a good spot and stayed and watched for a while. It was magical! All these beautiful colors, red, yellow, orange and purple dipping into the sea!

Χθες πήγαμε για μια βόλτα το βράδυ με τα ποδήλατα μας. Με την ευκαιρία, πού είναι το καλοκαίρι; Φύσαγε και είχε αρκετή ψύχρα. Τέλος πάντων, ήταν ακριβώς πριν από το ηλιοβασίλεμα, έτσι βρήκαμε ένα καλό σημείο και μείναμε να το χαζέψουμε για λίγο. Ήταν μαγικό! Όλα αυτά τα όμορφα χρώματα, κόκκινο, κίτρινο, πορτοκαλί και μωβ να βυθίζονται στη θάλασσα!

Weekend In Athens - Imany's Live Concert

Last weekend I made a quick trip to Athens just to see a couple of friends, but mostly to attend to Imany's Live Concert at Technopolis Athens. It was an amazing experience! Imany has an incredible voice and her performance on stage was really great!

Το περασμένο Σαββατοκύριακο ένα ένα σύντομο ταξιδάκι μέχρι την Αθήνα για να δω μερικούς φίλους, αλλά κυρίως για να παώ στη συναυλία της Imany στο Technopolis Athens. Ήταν μια φανταστική εμπειρία! Η Imany έχει απίστευτη φωνή και η παρουσία της ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχη!

The truth is that I've missed Athens! I've never thought that I would say that, but it's true. I've been studying there for 4 years but it seems that Athens wasn't good for me when I was in my 20s but in my 30s it suits me perfectly! Ok, I know that the financial crisis has stroke harder there than in any other city in Greece, but it still has beautiful places and things you can do just to have fun. In Athens I feel powerful, confident and  beautiful!

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι μου έχει λείψει η Αθήνα! Ποτέ δεν πίστευα ότι θα το έλεγα αυτό, αλλά είναι αλήθεια. Σπούδαζα εκεί για 4 χρόνια αλλά φαίνεται πως η Αθήνα δεν ήταν καλή για 'μένα όταν ήμουν στα 20 αλλά στα 30 μου ταιριάζει τέλεια! Οκ, ξέρω ότι η οικονομική κρίση έχει χτυπήσει εκεί περισσότερο από οποιαδήποτε άλλη πόλη της Ελλάδας, αλλά έχει ακόμα όμορφα μέρη και πράγματα που μπορείς να κάνεις για να διασκεδάσεις. Στην Αθήνα νιώθω δυνατή, σίγουρη και όμορφη!

I've seen snow, now I want Spring!

Yes, I'm ready to welcome Spring now! No more rain and cold, please. I've had my share of snow too. Last Sunday me, my bo-boy and a couple of friends went to Vasilitsa, a ski resort near Grevena. It was fun and despite the snow, the weather was quite warm actually. On the way back we also made a stop in Metsovo and had lunch. It was a nice getaway. We needed some time off, and just a day seemed like we've gone for a couple of days. Next time I'll try some skiing or snowboarding too (I've tried snowboarding once but it was AGES ago).

Ναι, είμαι έτοιμη για να καλωσορίσω την Άνοιξη τώρα! Όχι άλλη βροχή και κρύο, παρακαλώ πολύ. Πήρα και τη δόση μου από χιόνι. Την Κυριακή πήγα με τον καλό μου και ένα ζευγάρι φίλων μας στην Βασιλίτσα, το χιονοδρομικό κοντά στα Γρεβενά. Είχε πλάκα και παρόλο το χιόνι, ο καιρός ήταν αρκετά ζεστός. Στην επιστροφή κάναμε και μια στάση στο Μέτσοβο για φαγητό. Ήταν μια ωραία απόδραση. Χρειαζόμασταν ένα διάλειμμα, και μόνο μια μέρα μας φάνηκε σαν να λείψαμε τουλάχιστον 2. Την επόμενη φορά θα δοκιμάσω να κάνω και λίγο σκι ή σνόουμπορντ (Είχα δοκιμάσει μια φορά snowboard, αλλά ήταν ΑΙΩΝΕΣ πριν).

Summer Fun

Autumn?! ALREADY?!

I have to admit it. I'm not ready yet! No, Summer can't be over... yet! Today we had our first rain. It's so sad.

It means that Summer is officially over. I don't even know where my umbrella is. I hope that this is only temporary. It can't and IT SHOULDN'T be that cold already! I want to go to the beach for at least one more time. I'm not ready yet to leave this Summer behind. I was so busy that I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I'm so tired. I really need a break. It can't be Autumn ALREADY!

I have to gather my thoughts, my mind, my plans, organize my time... I feel like I'm running out of time!

An early New Year's Resolution:

Organize better my time.

It's something that I should do every year, but every time... I fail! If I really want to have my Etsy shop up and running, I have to have/make priorities. This is just so typical of me!

That kind of weather brings me down. Maybe it's also because I look like a panda bear, only I have just one eye black. - hahaha
