Cute Ribbon Bookmarks

Well, I think that my creative springs are flowing again! Maybe it's because Summer is my time of the year. Not because of all this heat (I CAN'T STAND IT!) but because of all the sunshine that makes me feel like a leaf that performs photosynthesis! - hahahaha
My new creations that I wanted to show you are these cute bookmarks made with ribbon, felt and other small decorative things. They are so simple to make so I won't bore you with all the little details of how they are made.
So, do you like them?
Λοιπόν, σας αρέσουν;

New Things I've made

For once more, I'm super excited about this Store House Market. Whether it'll be a success or not, I'm sure that it'll be fun. It's so good getting to know other fellow crafters, exchange ideas and support each other.

Here are some of the new things that
I'm going to bring with me to the market.

I hope that I'll see you all there! :-)

Ballerina Brooches

Lately I'm experimenting a lot with different and new things. I'm really anxious about the next Store House Market on June 11th-12th and I want to prepare even more cute things to bring with me so that everyone will find something that will fit their style.
So, last night I had the idea to use some felt ballerinas that I've had for some time now and I haven't used them yet (except for this necklace). The result? Cute little brooches!

Cute Bookmarks

Today I wanted to show you some cute little bookmarks that I've made and I have them on display in my shop. I haven't put them in my Etsy Shop yet because I wanted to make a cute photo shoot first, but as always... procrastination. I have to do something about it!
Aren't they cute?

New Necklaces

Something new that I've made. It's been a while since I last made a necklace that resembles jewels. Just a little experiment with velvet ribbon, faux pearls, silver charms and a felt ballerina.
and another one made with different colors of yarn, brown velvet ribbon, crochet flower and pearl beads.

Scrapbooking Experiments Continue

I'm improving by the day or should I say, by the minute?! hahaha All I can say is that I'm really proud of myself! Look what I've made a couple of days ago while I was watching a movie on the tv. I've used the same pieces of cardboard that I had left from the mini booklet that I've made for my bo-boy. I didn't want to make something specifically, I just wanted to see if I could make something nice. And I think I did!
This is a booklet cover made of a piece of cereal box.
I haven't put any pages in it yet.
These are two layouts that I was trying to make.
It was the first time that I've ever tried to make tags.
So, what do you think?

Summer Camp - Some More Hanging Lanterns

As I've mentioned before, I wasn't really satisfied with my previous lanterns. I wanted to try something different, be more creative. So, last night I gathered my supplies and started experimenting with colored wire. The first one that I've made was this.
Maybe I should have put some beads somewhere,
or a ribbon, or something.
I think my second one was "the deal"!
I really like it.
Once again I used ribbon, colored wire and added some beads around the handle. The special detail is the beautiful tape from Tapeswell that I've won months ago in one of their giveaways (as I've mentioned here) but haven't got the chance to use it in any project so far.
I think in the candle light the pattern looks lovely.
Don't you think?

The Creation Of The Day

Just the other day I wanted to "make something"! You know the feeling, when you are wondering inside your house trying to find something to keep your hands occupied? Well, that was what has happened to me. So, I went through some pieces of fabric and ribbon that I had around and decided to make a bracelet.
I've used a scrap of fabric from my other creation
and some patterned ribbon with a really thin wire inside it.
The little flower that I've made didn't
work out really well, so it got a little messed.
Do you like it?
Just lately I've started experimenting with my sewing machine and I get very excited every time I finish something. I have bought it over a year ago, without knowing ANYTHING about sewing. I thought it wouldn't be too hard to learn. I hope, one day, I'll be able to sew even my own clothes. That would be WONDERFUL! My mother used to make for us some amazing pieces of clothing. I always felt so privileged and unique because I got to wear something that no one could find anywhere to buy. Maybe I should ask her to help me out with some of the basics or even a simple pattern. I'll keep you posted.

The Creations Of The Day

The last few days I've been creative... A LOT! I've been making mostly decorated candles for the Easter. Some of them are already in the shop of my friend Helena (I forgot to take pictures but I'll show you the ones that I made yesterday). They are so simple to make, all you need is inspirations and any kind of stuff you have around. I've used paper napkins, raffia, sea shells, ribbons e.t.c. Here, take a look.
Tell me what you think.
And how about your creativity. Has it been awaken now that Spring has finally arrived?

My Creations

Yesterday I've thought to decorate some candles for the Easter. We have a custom here in Greece to hold a candle the Saturday before Easter so that we can receive the "Holy Light". Usually a decorated one. And it's also a custom for the godfather to bring  one as a gift to his godchild. I've used mainly paper napkins, ribbons and glitter.
So, here is what I came up with.
I hope you'll like them. I'd like to know what you think.
Are there any customs that you have for Easter?
