Little Princess Dress Wish Book

My first official attempt of
Scrapbooking a Wish Book.
I've always wanted to try it and I've made some things from time to time but never with the right supplies. The first time that I've tried anything like it was about 2 years ago, when I've made a Scrapbooking Album for my friend Afrodite who was going away to live in Majorca. It was our friendship through the years captured on photos.
I've also made her this
It's a metal cigarettes' case. I've decorated it on the outside and on the inside I've put a part of the Antoine de Saint-Exupery's book "The Little Prince" folded like an accordion.
It's the part about friendship.

"...it was then that the fox appeared.
"good morning" said the fox.

"good morning"
the little prince responded politely
altho when he turned around he saw nothing.

"I am right here" the voice said, "under the apple
tree."

"who are you?" asked the little prince, and added,

"You are very pretty to look at."

"I am a fox", the fox said.

"Come and play with me,"
proposed the little prince, "I am so unhappy."

"I cannot play with you," the fox said,
"I am not tamed."..."

I really enjoyed it. It was so much fun. But since then, I've never tried anything like it. I thought I had to have a purpose to do it, that it has to mean something, like the one for Afrodite. So, I've let it for later. Until yesterday.
I've seen these things floating around blogsphere for quite some time now. Wedding Wish Books, Birthday Wish Books, Baby Shower Wish Books e.t.c. so I thought to give them a try. Also it's a part of a side project that I'm working on and I've wanted to "test the waters" with this. I'm happy to say that it turned out a whole lot better than what I've imagined.
Here is what I've made.
I wanted to be a Baby Wish Book, for a Birthday or maybe a Baptism Day (it was going to be a sample after all). Since I didn't have many of the actual "proper supplies" for the "job" I've improvised!
First of all, I've gathered my stash of cardboard cereal boxes (I keep them for projects like that, but I think they are TOO MANY so far!) and traced the form of a little dress. I cut them all and them I've glued on both sides some craft paper in natural and green color (so that I could hide the printed side of the box. I didn't quite succeed it,  but it's not so obvious anyway). Then I started to decorate it. I had some chipboard stickers, just for the case, some sticky tape in various patterns, glitter pens, ribbons, stamps and various other stuff. I've left my imagination lose! Finally, I've punched two little holes on the top and since I haven't had any scrapbooking rings or anything like that, I've tied them together with some cotton string.
Here is the result

Και το άλμπουμ που έφτιαξες για τη φίλη σου ήταν πάρα πολύ ωραία ιδέα για αποχαιρετιστήριο δώρο και με ωραίους συνδυασμούς χρωμάτων!
