My First Christmas Cards For 2012

I'm trying -slowly but steady- to get into the Christmas mood. These are my first two Christmas cards for this year, 2012. Nothing too fancy, just beautiful stickers and a paper puncher. I don't know if there will be more, but these two are already on their way to two special ladies of my life who live abroad. I hope they'll like them! :-)

Προσπαθώ -αργά αλλά σταθερά- να μπω σε Χριστουγεννιάτικη διάθεση. Αυτές είναι δύο από τις πρώτες Χριστουγεννιάτικες κάρτες μου για φέτος. Τίποτα ιδιαίτερο, απλά μερικά όμορφα αυτοκόλλητα και ένας διακορευτής με σχέδια. Δεν ξέρω αν θα φτιάξω και άλλες, αλλά αυτές οι δύο έχουν πα΄ρει ήδη το δρόμο τους προς δύο πολύ αγαπημένες κυρίες της ζωής μου που μένουν "στα εξωτερικά". Ελπίζω να τους αρέσουν! :-)

Cute Handmade Card

Just a cute little card that I've made the other day with simple techniques.

A piece of decorated paper, a flower shape and a flower edge punch, a circle one, a paper flower, a sticky rhinestone and some label making tape. Oh! And an ink pad for the edges.

Simple as that!

Απλά μια μικρή, χαριτωμένη καρτούλα που έφτιαξα 

πριν μερικές μέρες με πολύ απλές τεχνικές.

Ένα κομμάτι διακοσμημένο χαρτόνι, ένας διακορευτής σε σχήμα λουλούδι, ένας στρογγυλός, ένας λουλουδένιος διακορευτής μπορντούρας, ένα χάρτινο λουλούδι, ένα αυτοκόλλητο διαμαντάκι και λίγη πλαστική ταινία για ετικέτες. Α! Και ένα χρωματιστό ταμπόν για τις άκρες.

Τόσο απλό!

A Love Note... Just Because!

Happy 1st of the Month with a fast DIY.

It doesn't have to be Valentine's Day, neither a special occasion. When you love someone you have to show him everyday, even with small gestures, no matter what, just because...

Καλό Μήνα με ένα γρήγορο DIY.

Δεν χρειάζεται να είναι του Αγίου Βαλεντίνου, ούτε καμμία ειδική περίσταση. Όταν αγαπάς κάποιον πρέπει να του το δείχνεις κάθε μέρα, ακόμη και με μικρές χειρονομίες, όπως και να'χει, απλά έτσι...

I came across this Paper Flower Card (it can also be used as a decorative flower on presents, scrapbooking layouts, whatever) and I've tried to make it following the instructions but something always went wrong.

Βρήκα αυτήν την Χάρτινη Λουλουδένια Κάρτα (μπορεί επίσης να χρησιμοποιηθεί και σαν διακοσμητικό λουλούδι πάνω σε ένα δώρο, σε κάποια σύνθεση Scrapbooking, οπουδήποτε) και προσπάθησα να την φτιάξω ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες αλλά συνέχεια κάτι έκανα λάθος.

Then I saw that there was also a Printable pdf file, so it was simple as that! I've printed it on a piece of colored card stock, decorated it with some stickers that I've printed using  a Free Printable for Heart Cupcake Toppers from Smitten Blog Desings, put my secret message in, closed it and put some final touches.

Μετά είδα ότι υπήρχε και ένα pdf αρχείο που θα μπορούσα να εκτυπώσω, έτσι ήταν τόσο απλό! Την τύπωσα πάνω σε ένα χρωματιστό χαρτόνι, την διακόσμησα με μερικά αυτοκόλλητα που εκτύπωσα χρησιμοποιώντας ένα Free Printable for Heart Cupcake Toppers από το Smitten Blog Desings, έβαλα μέσα το μηνυματάκι μου, το έκλεισα και έβαλα μερικές τελικές πινελιές.

Scrapbooking Wedding Cards

Last Saturday we went to a wedding  (more details about it later) and I wanted to make a card to give along with my wedding gift. A while ago I have bought this package of wedding theme papers and now has been the perfect opportunity to put them into good use. I must say I was a little bit intimidated at first, I don't know why, as if it was the very first time that I've tried anything like it. Maybe it was because I thought these papers are so perfect and I wouldn't want to spoil them. Do you ever get that feeling about any "cute" supplies?

Το περασμένο Σάββατο πήγαμε σε ένα γάμο (περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες γι'αυτό αργότερα) και ήθελα να φτιάξω μια κάρτα για να δώσω μαζί με το δώρο μου. Πριν καιρό είχα αγοράσει αυτό το πακέτο με χαρτιά με θέμα το γάμο και τώρα ήταν ιδανική ευκαιρία να τα χρησιμοποιήσω. Πρέπει να πω ότι ήμουν αρκετά διστακτική στην αρχή, δεν ξέρω γιατί, σαν να ήταν η πρώτη φορά που δοκίμασ\ζα να φτιάξω κάτι τέτοιο. Ίσως ήταν επειδή θεωρούσα ότι αυτά τα χαρτιά είναι πολύ τέλεια και δεν θα ήθελα να τα καταστρέψω. Σας πιάνει ποτέ αυτό όταν έχετε να κάνετε με "χαριτωμένα" υλικά;

Nevertheless I took my shot and I think it was a success.

I gave the pink one to Kate to give it away with her gift and

the other one I gave it away with mine.

και την άλλη την έδωσα με το δικό μου.

Handmade Cards

A friend of mine is going to a baptism and she asked me if I could make her two cards. I may have asked Alex to make me a card for the wedding, but this time I've made something on my own.

Μια φίλη μου θα πάει σε μια βάπτιση και μου ζήτησε αν μπορούσα να τις φτιάξω δύο καρτούλες. Μπορεί να ζήτησα από την Αλέκα να μου φτιάξει μια κάρτα για το γάμο, αλλά αυτή τη φορά έφτιαξα κάτι μόνη μου.

Purse Envelope Card

Ok, I don't know how else to call it, that's why my title is a little bit confusing.

Today a good friend is getting married and I wanted to give her a special card with my gift but I'm really busy and -OH!- so tired that I couldn't sit and make something. So, I've asked the SUPER TALENTED Alex from My Serendipity Creations (yes, my "teacher" from the last Scrapbooking Workshop) to make me something really special, as only she knows how! ;-) And she's made me this INCREDIBLE purse envelope that will hold my card with my wishes for the newlyweds. Isn't it PERFECT?!

Οκ, δεν ξέρω πώς αλλιώς να το πω, γι'αυτό και ο τίτλος μου είναι λίγο περίεργος.

Σήμερα παντρεύεται μια καλή μου φίλη και ήθελα να της δώσω μια ιδιαίτερη κάρτα με το δώρο μου αλλά ήμουν πολύ απασχολημένη και -Ω!- τόσο κουρασμένη που δεν μπόρεσα να καθίσω και να φτιάξω κάτι. Έτσι, ζήτησα από την ΥΠΕΡΤΑΛΑΝΤΟΥΧΑ Άλεξ απ'το My Serendipity Creations  (ναι, την "δασκάλα" μου από το τελευταίο Scrapbooking Workshop) να μου φτιάξει κάτι πραγματικά ιδιαίτερο, όπως μόνο αυτή ξέρει! ;-) Και μου έφτιαξε αυτό το ΑΠΙΣΤΕΥΤΟ τσαντάκι φάκελο που θα περιέχει την κάρτα με τις ευχές μου για τους νεόνυμφους. Δεν είναι ΤΕΛΕΙΟ;!

Christmas Cards 2010_continue

Hello everyone! I wanted to share some more of the Christmas Cards that I've made for this year. Card making has been my tradition for many-many years, especially now that I own a shop and I can sell them too. The funny thing is that I never make the same card twice. Even If I use the exact same materials the card won't be the same no matter what! I don't know, I just CAN'T repeat myself!
I'm sorry for the crappy photos but I forgot to take them before I've packed them into cellophane. Anyway, you get the idea!
