I've came across this and I had to share. If you are willing to take the big step and let your creative self go out there and rock the world with your amazing and unique creations, you may have to consider these simple steps. I would only add that if the etsy and facebook widgets are not fitting to your blogsite's aesthetic, make your own buttons/links that do :) Also, it's funny that they should say link to your blog on Etsy Forums, when they can be a little anti-promotion regarding outside/external links... I've mentioned my blog in threads along with others that have then been closed because of their off-site promotion content... Lastly, hasn't Facebook removed the Etsy link now? I used to have one and then all of a sudden it vanished! Or have I missed something?

Thanks Beka for sharing. You are right about the widgets, it's so much better to have something more fitting to your shop and it's not that hard to create whatever you want to.
ReplyDeleteI haven't participated in many threads on Etsy (hardly any) but I find it a little overwhelming if I may say so. Maybe i shouldn't participate in too many social media and just focus on 1 or 2.
I don't know about Facebook. I have the Etsy Link on my page and looks like it works just fine. But I have to admit, at first I've faced some problems while trying to install it.
